Mme Michel Doré remporte en 1930 la coupe des dames du rallye de Monté-carlo en 1930 au volant d'une berline 14 Cv. Mme Doré était partie de Tallin en Estonie pour rallier la principauté. Jusqu'après la Seconde Guerre mondiale la partie fondamentale du Rallye demeura le parcours de concentration. En 1911 et en 1912, la moyenne à respecter était de 25 km/h. Dans les années vingt, elle augmenta progressivement jusqu'à atteindre, dans les dernières éditions des années trente, les 45 km/h. Il s'agissait de limites modestes, encore que, si on les rapportait aux automobiles et à la viabilité de l'époque, on pouvait déjà les considérer comme exigeantes. On ne doit pas oublier que le Rallye de Monte-Carlo a toujours été disputé, à de rares exceptions près, au mois de janvier, c'est-à-dire dans une période où la pluie, le froid, la neige et le verglas sévissent dans une grande partie de l'Europe.
